Identity and Foundation Idiome Conception linguistique hails from an ever-growing interest in collaboration between André Chabot, founder and owner of Chabo Communications & Design, and Éric Charlebois, writer, analyst, conceptor, speaker and teacher. A complementary care for image and idiomatic expression catalyzed the synergy : the message is conveyed by an image which brings up words and by a speech which arouses imagery, always through the consideration of the perspective imperatively adapted to the purpose of convincing. Éric benefits from a deep and diversified experience. He is fulfilling, with Idiome, a professional aspiration, bringing, in so doing, a dynamic versatility, an open mind, an attention to detail an impeccability, all steered by the audacity, the conviction and the determination which have always characterized him. For a while, now, Éric has been mastering the art of revising and correcting through the media jungle. To better address an exponentially fast-growing need, he has brought his masters thesis and his doctorate proposition, in literature and ethical philosophy of the relation to the other, to a halt. He has taught, for nine years, at the secondary level, where he has also been Head of the French Department, for seven years, and of the Communications Unit, for three years. All the same, he has been involved in a myriad of extracurricular activities, always motivated by linguistic, cultural and subjective individual development : debates, literary cenacle, drama productions. Aside from his credentials as a linguistics analyst, Éric will officially be publishing his seventh book of poetry, in February 2012, Le miroir devant la berceuse électrique. His inaugural book, Faux-fuyants, won the Trillium Book Award for Poetry, in 2003, as well as the Prix Le Droit. He has twice been a finalist for the Prix Le Droit and once, for the Ottawa Book Award. His third publication, Centrifuge, was also awarded the Trillium Book Award, in 2005. His works are already well implemented in the literary critic environment and in some university courses. He often takes part in literary events and festivals : Ottawa, Gatineau, Eastern Ontario, Sudbury, Toronto, Montréal, Trois-Rivières, Québec, Moncton, Winnipeg and La Rochelle (France). He is also working, after a first exhibit, on a combination of poetry and photography. Furthermore, Éric is often requested to present workshops and conferences on creative writing and literary theories, as well as contextual communication and intent , and ethical philosophy. Among them, for the past four years, he has been presenting such workshops at the University of Ottawa, for the Destination Clic program, for which he has also conceived and presented a twelve session course in Franco-Ontarian literature, in July 2011. It is with such credentials that Éric Charlebois specializes in lexical precision, expressed intention and message perception, always in line with your image and your own distinctive traits.
